Dogfish at the Skerries

June 23, 2007

Haven’t dived this site in nearly a year but it was nice to be back and we were rewarded with plenty to see, including 3 other dogfish and a large conger eel, that Neil unsucessfully tried to coax out for the camera, and good conditions, no current as it was slack water and pretty good vis, I’d say about 13-15 metres.

Excellent clip Dave, shame about the good looking diver who blocks the shot…..

I’d forgotten how good the skerries could be, with vis like that you dont even need a torch ;)

You may of course know Liam , but it isn’t Liam Waugh its a different Liam, but I agree, he shouldn’t have been getting in the way of the camera, lol. He did provide some lovely lighting though so I’ll let him off. Unfortunately he dropped his torch about 15 mins later when getting back on RIB. Umm I wonder?

    Oh I see….

Thought I recognised the twins and dry suit….

Sorry to hear about the torch, still good excuse to do a PADI search and recovery specialty…

    All the best

    Ray
