Lions mane Jellyfish does a graceful dance

Spotted this guy during the safety stop after our dive on the Maerl beds at Cushendall. Not the best camera work you will have ever seen but if you watch until closer to the end it gets better

    Man!
    That thing looks very nasty and slimy too.
    I’ve never encountered this type before. May be that one is cold water species..?

    Well, not too sure if it exclusive to cold water, but certainly we see alot of them in our waters (6-15 degrees centigrade). Have you ever dived in ireland before?

    As many danger creatures from under water, we should not try to “play”and make touching to many of coverings them as they can have poisons from the outside body.Thanks
